Illnesses
Please follow the NYS Guidelines regarding whether to send your child to school or not.
Please give us a courtesy call if your child is going to be absent. Please note that if your child is running a temperature of 100, vomits, has diarrhea, pink eye or an unknown rash we will need to call you to pick up your child, and your child must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school. A doctor's note is needed for pink eye and rash diagnosis must be on return to school note. We do understand the inconvenience this may cause, but this is all according to the NYS Guidelines which we must follow.
Keep in mind that you would not want your child sitting next to someone that did not comply with these guidelines.
If your child needs ANY type of medication (prescription or over the counter) given at school, you must have the doctor fill out the medical permission form. Available upon request.
